P. Makkonen: Pater Noster
Pater Noster is composed by Petri Makkonen for accordion solo in 2012 commissioned by Christel Sautaux. It is based thematically in the old German choral ”Our Father, who art in heaven” and inspired especially by the organ music of the 19th century. This quite a demanding work (dur. 8 minutes) can be divided in four parts: a Prayer, a Dance Mass, a Canon and the Finale.
